CisionScoop: Adrienne Maxwell is the new AV editor at Wirecutter, an online magazine that reviews and covers the latest in technology and consumer electronics. Previously, Maxwell has written for Home Theater Review and Home Theater Magazine since 1999.
CisionScoop: WLRN-FM in Miami, Florida, brought on Daniel Rivero as its newest reporter and producer. Rivero returns to WLRN after he left in 2013 to produce and report for Fusion, where he worked until February.

In an effort to reduce its editorial budget, The Dallas Morning News has parted ways with the following journalists:
- Longtime sports reporter and columnist Barry Horn, who has been with the company since 1981. While with DMN, Horn covered all sports in the city of Dallas, from high school to professional-level, including the SEC.
- Terri Langford, an investigative news reporter since July 2016. During her time at DMN, she specialized in public records, government, medicare fraud, and criminal justice issues.
Susannah George has joined the Associated Press‘ Washington bureau as an intelligence reporter, covering US intelligence agencies and national security. She’s worked for AP at the Baghdad bureau since 2015, first as a correspondent, and most recently as the acting bureau chief.
Los Angeles NBC affiliate KNBC-TV has promoted Adrian Arambulo to weekend morning anchor. An anchor-reporter for the station since 2013, Arambulo has also worked with KDFW in Dallas and KLAS in Las Vegas.
Sarah Unis Burgess also received a recent promotion, and is now the news director of WFXT-TV, the FOX affiliate for Boston. She formerly served the station as managing editor, a position she held since 2005.
Alexis Boentes is the newest reporter for WRMD-TV, the Telemundo affiliate for Tampa, Florida. A seasoned reporter and multimedia journalist, Boentes has written and reported for WVEA in Tampa, as well as served as the Mexico and Florida correspondent for Deutsche Welle.
