CisionScoop: Cotton Codinha has joined Allure as senior beauty features editor. She recently departed from ELLE, where she had worked since 2013 and held various positions, including assistant editor and the associate editor of beauty and fitness.
CisionScoop: Real Vision Television welcomed a new senior talent producer and head of booking, Brian Price. He previously worked for two years at CNBC as a segment producer, and prior to that worked for three years at Bloomberg LP as a producer.
Li Yuan joined The New York Times Hong Kong bureau as Asia technology columnist. She recently departed from The Wall Street Journal where she had been for 14 years and served as a reporter, managing editor, and most recently as a columnist.
After 18 years at The Wall Street Journal, senior investigative news reporter Ianthe Jeanne departed from the paper. She started at WSJ in 2000 as a front page enterprise writer and joined the investigative team in 2014. The Chicago Tribune has reorganized its newsroom:
- Metro editor Mark Jacob departed the paper. He began working at the Tribune in 1999 and held various positions, such as foreign and national news editor and deputy metro editor. He also worked at the Chicago Sun-Times as the Sunday editor from 1985 to 1999.
- Robin Daughtridge, the associate managing editor for photography, also departed from the Tribune. She had worked at the daily since 1995 and previously worked at the Chicago Sun-Times as director of photography.
- Phil Jurik was named the breaking news editor in light of Mark Jacob’s departure. He is continuing his coverage as local news editor. He has worked at the Tribune since 2008.
Mia Tramz was promoted to editorial director of enterprise and immersive experience at TIME. She began working at TIME in 2013 as associate photo editor and held other various positions such as senior multimedia editor, special projects editor and most recently LIFE VR managing editor.
Tom Bell joined KVVU-TV on May 5 as news director. KVVU-TV is the FOX affiliate in Las Vegas. He recently departed from KOVR/KMAX in Sacramento, California where he served as news director since 2013.
Bloomberg BNA welcomed Rebecca Baker as managing editor overseeing coverage of intellectual property law and issues. She joined Bloomberg after working at the New York Daily News as deputy head of news for three years. She has also worked at the New York Law Journal as managing editor, and at The Bergen Record and The Journal News as a staff writer. h/t Talking Biz News

He was a veteran foreign correspondent and newsroom leader who served as senior vice president and executive editor at CQ Roll Call. He had worked at several outlets during his career including The Associated Press, USA Today, and Bloomberg Government.
