CisionScoop: CollegeFashionista welcomed Jennifer Mulrow as its new community engagement manager. She was previously at Glamour since 2014, most recently as assistant beauty editor and previously as beauty assistant.
Clare Foran is now a breaking news writer for CNNPolitics. She comes from The Atlantic, where she was an associate editor since 2015. Prior to that, she was an energy reporter at National Journal for more than two years.
Jamie Green joined The New York Times as a romance fiction columnist on the Book Review team. She has previously written about books for Slate, Vulture, Thrillist and BuzzFeed. Green’s quarterly column will debut in June.
Dallas Morning News deputy editorial page editor of nearly four years, Nicole Stockdale, has been promoted to director of digital strategy overseeing audience development. She will also serve as the newsroom’s chief liaison to all digital marketing efforts from DMN’s business side. Also, Keith Campbell has been promoted to managing editor and vice president after serving as deputy managing editor since 2015. He joined the paper in 1990 and has held many roles including communities editor, deputy sports editor and assistant managing editor.
Felicia Bolton has started at CBS affilliate WNCN-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina as a morning anchor and investigative reporter. She comes from WMC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Memphis, where she served as a special assignments reporter for three years. She was a morning anchor at KTVE-TV in Arkansas prior to that.
Skift, a business travel website, hired Tom Lowry as managing editor. Lowry was previously a senior editor for CNBC and a senior editor at Variety. He has also reported for BusinessWeek, USA Today and the New York Daily News. h/t Talking Biz News
Tina Commodore has been named integrated news director for Cox Media Group’s Tulsa cluster, which includes KMYT-TV, KOKI-TV, KRMG-FM and KRMG-AM. Commodore is responsible for integrating how the stations gather and cover news across its radio, television and digital platforms. She was most recently news director at KMYT and KOKI.
Meredith Long left her position as senior vice president and general manager at Time Inc. Based in New York, Long led the news and luxury brands, including InStyle, Time, Fortune, Money, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, and Departures. She has joined Quantcast as chief revenue officer, where she will lead the North American sales team.
